7 Tips to Improve Screen Mirroring with LetsView

How to Use LetsView: A Beginner’s Guide

What LetsView is

LetsView is a free wireless screen mirroring app that lets you mirror screens between Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS devices over the same Wi‑Fi network. It also supports screen recording, whiteboard, and basic remote control (Android).

Before you start

  • Requirement: All devices must be on the same Wi‑Fi network.
  • Install: Download LetsView on each device from the official site or app store.
  • Permissions: Grant screen-capture and network permissions when prompted.

Step-by-step setup (Windows/macOS → Phone or vice versa)

  1. Open LetsView on both devices.
  2. Find the device: On your phone, tap the detected PC name; on PC, select the phone under available devices.
  3. Choose a connection method:
    • Auto-detect (recommended): Tap the device name to connect.
    • PIN code: Enter the 4‑digit PIN shown on the target device.
    • QR code: Scan the QR code displayed by the receiving device.
  4. Start mirroring: Confirm screen-cast/share prompts on the sending device. On iOS, use Control Center → Screen Mirroring → select LetsView. On Android, use Cast/Smart View or the LetsView app’s Cast button.
  5. Stop mirroring: Use the LetsView app’s disconnect button or system control (Stop Mirroring).

Common features and how to use them

  • Screen recording: Tap the record button to capture the mirrored session.
  • Whiteboard: Open the Whiteboard tool to draw, annotate, and export images while mirroring.
  • Remote control (Android to PC): Enable USB debugging and follow on‑screen prompts to allow control.
  • File transfer: Use the file-sharing feature to move files between connected devices.

Troubleshooting tips

  • Can’t find devices: Ensure both devices are on the same Wi‑Fi and firewall isn’t blocking LetsView. Restart router or apps.
  • Lag/low quality: Move devices closer to the router, close other bandwidth‑heavy apps, or switch to a 5 GHz network.
  • Permission prompts not appearing: Reinstall the app and regrant screen-capture/network permissions.

Security and privacy notes

  • Use trusted networks when mirroring sensitive content. Disconnect when finished.
